**This is a standalone position that is part of a 5–10-person team; experience working on a small team or within a start-up (this company is NOT a start-up) at some point in your career is required.You will beresponsible for everything DevOps-related, so someone that thrives on independence, problem-solving, learning on the go, creativity, and balancing immediate needs with scalable, long-term solutions is ideal.
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of our cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. You will collaborate with development and operations teams to automate processes, improve system reliability, and enhance deployment efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain Azure-based infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as ARM templates or Terraform.
- Automate deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps.
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability through proactive maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and security.
- Maintain system documentation and develop best practices for DevOps processes.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Small team environment or start-up type environment required (this is a standalone role).
- Proven experience in a DevOps (Azure) role involving the creation of successful and efficient DevOps processes for a brand-new product.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, and Batch Compute.
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
