Role Overview:
As a
DevOps Platform Engineer, you will ensure the deployment, reliability, and performance of infrastructure used to build, test, deploy, observe, and operate enterprise applications and web services. This role involves leading efforts in containerization and deploying applications in private and public cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Systems Engineering:
- Collaborate with application teams to design scalable and reliable infrastructure.
- Orchestrate and automate application deployments in collaboration with application and infrastructure teams.
- Develop automation processes to enable self-serve production deployments.
- Code, configure, integrate, manage, and enhance automation tools.
- Build and improve platform observability with relevant team members.
- Participate in application and infrastructure release/deployment activities.
Minimum Qualifications: - Experience:
- 10+ years in technology infrastructure and engineering.
- 8+ years leading DevOps initiatives with Terraform in Azure Cloud.
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in Kubernetes and OpenShift.
- Advanced knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Experience deploying highly available applications in on-premises and Azure cloud environments.
- Skilled in writing Ansible playbooks for automation and building pipelines.
