Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Technology Architect to lead the design and implementation of robust technology solutions that align with business goals and market trends. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical foundation, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Planning and Technology Leadership
- Develop and maintain the company's technical architecture roadmap, ensuring alignment with business strategies.
- Assess emerging technologies and provide recommendations for adoption to enhance the company’s offerings.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and translate them into practical solutions.
2. Solution Design
- Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance systems for diverse business needs.
- Design integration strategies for new and existing applications, ensuring seamless connectivity.
- Provide guidance on system migrations, upgrades, and legacy system modernization.
3. Project Oversight
- Oversee end-to-end architecture during the lifecycle of IT projects, ensuring technical consistency and quality.
- Provide technical leadership to project teams, resolving challenges and ensuring successful project delivery.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability post-deployment.
4. Team Collaboration and Mentorship
- Act as a mentor for development teams, promoting best practices in coding, design, and architecture.
- Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and operations teams to ensure cohesive project delivery.
5. Governance and Standards
- Define and enforce architectural principles, coding standards, and technology best practices across projects.
- Conduct regular reviews of system architecture and technical designs to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Key Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 12+ years of experience in software engineering, IT architecture, or related roles, with at least 3 years in an architectural role.
Technical Expertise
- Strong experience in designing and implementing solutions using cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript).
- Hands-on expertise with microservices, APIs, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Deep understanding of database systems (SQL, NoSQL) and data modeling.
- Familiarity with DevOps principles and tools for CI/CD (e.g., Jenkins, Git, GitLab).
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards.
Soft Skills
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman).
- Certifications in cloud technologies (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect).
- Experience in designing AI/ML solutions or large-scale data processing systems.
