As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, OpenStack, and Kubernetes. You will implement DevOps best practices, lead client workshops to identify challenges, create transformation roadmaps, and deliver technical solutions. Acting as both a hands-on engineer and strategic consultant, you will guide delivery teams while leveraging AI-augmented workflows to enhance innovation.
Working closely with project teams and stakeholders, you will combine deep technical expertise with outstanding interpersonal skills to build or contribute to high-performing engineering teams that consistently exceed expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver scalable and reliable cloud solutions using AWS, Azure, and Kubernetes.
- Design, configure, maintain, and support cloud infrastructure.
- Implement and support CI/CD, security, and testing tools.
- Develop multi-stage CI/CD pipelines to accelerate releases and assist teams in automating build/deployment processes.
- Document and share knowledge on DevSecOps solutions.
- Conduct workshops to assess challenges, define roadmaps, and deliver solutions.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to design and implement DevOps strategies.
- Apply an engineering consultant mindset to provide expert guidance.
- Use AI development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to improve efficiency and quality.
Qualifications:
- 6–10 years of experience in platform automation and DevOps principles.
- Proven expertise in AWS and Azure, with strong containerization skills (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, AKS).
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, SAM, ARM, Bicep).
- Strong background in CI/CD pipeline design and automation (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
- Ability to coach teams in DevOps principles and modern engineering practices (TDD, BDD).
- Solid understanding of microservices, event-driven architectures, and DevSecOps.
- Proficiency in monitoring and security tools (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, SAST, DAST).
- Strong RDBMS and NoSQL skills, including MySQL, Oracle, and Elasticsearch.
- Proficiency with AI-augmented development tools and prompt engineering for optimal AI collaboration.
- Adaptability to evolving technologies with critical thinking to validate AI-generated solutions.
- Preferably a local candidate or Permanent Resident (PR).
