As we continue to grow, we’re seeking an experienced and versatile Project and Program Manager to lead critical projects and programs across the organization.
Position Overview
As a Junior DevOps Engineer, you will be an integral part of our team, supporting the development and operations of our AWS-hosted infrastructure. You will work closely with our engineering, development, and operations teams to ensure our systems are secure, efficient, and scalable. You will be responsible for automating infrastructure, managing deployments, and optimizing cloud-based resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, implementation, and management of cloud infrastructure on AWS using services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.
- Support the automation and orchestration of infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and AWS CLI.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools to ensure seamless deployment workflows.
- Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, logs, and infrastructure health using AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and other monitoring tools.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure best practices for infrastructure security, scalability, and high availability.
- Work with containers and orchestration platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS ECS/EKS.
- Assist with incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis of production issues.
- Maintain and improve infrastructure documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to our cloud infrastructure, automation, and monitoring practices.
Nice To Have
- Experience with additional cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or others.
- Familiarity with serverless architectures and AWS Lambda.
- Understanding of networking concepts and tools such as VPC, Subnets, Route 53, and security best practices.
- Experience with logging and monitoring solutions such as AppDynamics, New Relic, or DataDog.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1-2 years of experience in a DevOps, system administration, or related role.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services, particularly EC2, S3, RDS, and IAM.
- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
