Our client, a leader in their industry, has an excellent opportunity for an DevOps Cloud Engineer to work on a 12-month + contract. This position requires hybrid work, with onsite presence two weeks per month in Westlake, TX. Local candidates only.

Rate: $60 - $68 / hr. w2
Responsibilities of the DevOps Cloud Engineer:
- Guide and support multiple teams in the release of their applications using Microsoft Azure, ensuring best practices and security compliance.
- Develop and maintain advanced Groovy scripts for Jenkins to enhance release automation.
- Build and manage Kubernetes clusters, supporting 100+ applications running in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Implement robust observability practices using Datadog and Splunk to monitor system performance and ensure reliability.
- Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines with strong emphasis on scalability and automation.
Requirements for the DevOps Cloud Engineer:
- 7+ years of DevOps Cloud Engineering experience
- Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure, including network, security, deployment, and automation, with the confidence to guide team releases.
- Recent and advanced proficiency in Groovy scripting for Jenkins.
- Strong experience with observability tools such as Datadog and Splunk.
- Proven expertise in Kubernetes, managing large-scale deployments (100+ apps) in AKS.
- Comprehensive CI/CD pipeline experience with tools like Jenkins, GitHub, and Artifactory.
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
