We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Guy Carpenter. This role will be based in Princeton NJ. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
As a Lead Cloud Engineer, you will oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure on the Microsoft Azure platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure cloud technologies, extensive experience in building CI/CD pipelines, and the ability to lead a team of cloud engineers and DevOps engineers.
We will count on you to:
- Lead and manage a team of cloud engineers and DevOps engineers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support.
- Design, implement, and maintain our cloud infrastructure on the Microsoft Azure platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
- Build and deploy Azure services and applications based on Node.js and Python, utilizing CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Azure services and applications.
- Implement and manage Docker and Azure Kubernetes deployments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define cloud architecture best practices.
What you need to have:
- With a minimum of 6 years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on Azure including but not limited to experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, networking, load balancers, DNS, and Azure services.
- Hands-on experience with Azure ARM templates, PowerShell, Shell/Bash scripting, Terraform, Python, and Helm charts.
- Proven experience in leading and managing a team of cloud engineers and DevOps engineers.
- Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure App Service, Azure Functions, and Azure Security.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred certifications: Azure Administrator Associate, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
