Overview:

Innovare Solutions, Inc. is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team on a freelance/contract basis. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth deployments, optimizing our development infrastructure, and enhancing the scalability and reliability of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure using Microsoft Azure.
Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth and efficient code releases.
Implement and maintain Istio for service mesh and traffic management within Kubernetes clusters.
Manage messaging systems using Kafka.
Monitor, maintain, and optimize PostgreSQL databases.
Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployments.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration between code and infrastructure.
Implement and maintain security best practices across all systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.
Stay up to date with industry trends and new technologies to continuously improve infrastructure and processes.

Required Skills & Experience:

3+ years of experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role.
Strong proficiency with Azure cloud services.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
Expertise in Docker for containerization.
Experience with Kafka for real-time messaging.
Familiarity with Istio for service mesh management in Kubernetes.
Proficiency with Git for version control and code collaboration.
Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
Experience with PostgreSQL database administration and performance optimization.
Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Bash, Python, or other).
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice to Have:

Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
Familiarity with other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) is a plus.
Experience working with microservices architecture.

Contract Details:

Duration: 6-12 months (contract to hire)
