Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud architectures on AWS.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
- Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Monitor system performance and implement necessary improvements.
- Collaborate with development teams for application integration.
- Ensure security practices are followed across cloud resources.
- Manage and optimize cloud services for cost efficiency.
- Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery tests.
- Lead incident response efforts on production issues.
- Develop and manage operational documentation and procedures.
- Evaluate and implement monitoring tools for system performance.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for deployment issues.
- Keep up-to-date with new AWS services and trends.
- Train and mentor junior engineers on best practices.
- Implement and manage network infrastructure related to cloud services.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps roles.
- Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible or Terraform.
- Understanding of computer networks and web protocols.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Capable of working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Prior experience with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Knowledge of security compliance standards in cloud environments.
- AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) is a plus.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
