Lead DevOps Engineer
Required Technical Skill Set

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)
Must-Have
Ø Good understanding of DevOps concepts, practices, containerization
Ø Hands on experience in CI/CD pipeline automation preferably in Light Speed.
Ø Experience in Sonar, code coverage tools like Jacoco and configuring them in CI/CD pipeline
Ø Experience in Build/Deployment toolsets - Bitbucket, GIT, Maven, Teamcity, UCD
Ø Experience building Docker images
Ø Experience in deployment management in Openshift POD’s, Openshift memory, CPU analysis/management, Route creation in OpenShift, Enabling security in OpenShift like SSL, TLS etc.
Ø Experience of leading DevOps team
Ø Should have experience in dealing with customers, conducting Governance meetings
Ø Must have overall knowledge in DevOps practices and can hand hold team when required.
Good-to-Have
Ø Knowledge on Java
Ø Shell scripting
Ø Logs management in ELK stack
Ø Monitoring, Alerting For example, AppDynamics
Ø Cloud Engineering
Ø Experience in SRE role
Ø Experience in both Cloud and on-premise environment
Ø Working knowledge in estimation and proposals
Ø Working knowledge in Cloud migration project
Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

CI/CD pipeline development and integration - Creation of scripts along with writing and configuring TeamCity jobs, UCD components for automated deployments to multiple environments.

Troubleshoot problems across different Technology layers such as networking, database and applications to identify and correct operational problems.

Setting up Containers in a Cloud environment, which includes being knowledgeable in Docker, Kubernetes and OpenShift.

Work as a team leader on multiple projects and assignments relating to application initiatives along with meeting committeddelivery dates.

Proposing and implementing enhancements to improve system performance, availability and resiliency

Perform general systems maintenance tasks such as but not limited to managing disk space usage, changing passwords, and applying patches.
