The AI/Cloud Infra team is part of BLAW/BTAX/BGOV Platform Engineering group that provides and supports platform solutions, workflows and tools to accelerate product development. Our team focuses on building cloud native solutions and AI/ML platform infrastructure and tools to deploy and operate BLAW/BTAX/BGOV products at scale on public cloud (AWS) environments.

As an AI/Cloud Infra Engineer, you will design and build reliable and scalable foundational cloud and AI infrastructure to run diverse workloads on AWS for BLAW, BTAX and BGOV products. For application software workloads, you will standardize and implement core architectural patterns including Kubernetes-as-a-Service platform (using EKS) to deploy and manage containerized and serverless applications. For machine learning workloads, you will create infrastructure solutions for various MLOps pipelines leveraging AWS (Sagemaker) and cloud data platform technologies. A right combination of AWS well-architected principles and familiarity with machine learning development lifecycle (MDLC) is fundamental to develop high-quality solutions in the team. You will collaborate with application developers, data and machine learning engineers to deliver end-to-end Platform solutions. We'll trust you to:
- Build highly available and scalable Kubernetes-as-a-Service as part of the Platform-as-a-Service framework for BLAW/BTAX/BGOV on AWS.
- Implement automation using Infrastructure-as-Code solutions (Terraform).
- Create MLOps pipelines and infrastructure to streamline workflows for deployment and monitoring of ML models.
- Work alongside application, data and machine learning engineers as they develop applications on your infrastructure.
- Create innovative ideas and implement them with effective collaboration and communication.
You need to have:
- 5+ Years of Experience in developing code in at least one high-level programming languages (Python, Java, Ruby, Go or C/C++)
- 3+ Years of Experience with building scalable AWS architecture as well as working on highly available, fault-tolerant distributed systems
- Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, similar field of study or equivalent work experience
We'd love to see:
- Prior experience in developing Internal Developer Platforms (IDP) or other Platform Engineering tools.
- Understanding of Linux operating systems and networking.
- Experience with Kubernetes/docker/containers
- Knowledge of machine learning development life cycle, frameworks and MLOps workflows
- Collaborate with diverse teams
