We are looking for an experienced
Lead DevOps Engineer to drive the design, implementation, and management of AWS-based cloud infrastructure. This role requires a technical leader with strong expertise in
AWS networking, automation, and security. You will be responsible for building scalable and secure cloud solutions while mentoring a high-performing DevOps team.
Responsibilities
- Architect and oversee the deployment of AWS infrastructure with a focus on networking, security, and hybrid cloud connectivity
- Develop and maintain hybrid network solutions including Direct Connect, Direct Connect Gateway, Transit Gateway, and Route 53 hybrid configurations
- Establish best practices for AWS Organizations, Service Control Policies (SCPs), and IAM governance
- Lead the adoption of Terraform for infrastructure automation and enforce best practices for state management
- Optimize and enhance API Gateway & AWS Lambda (Python) for scalable and efficient cloud applications
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, security policies, and deployment workflows
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align DevOps initiatives with business and development objectives
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks to improve system reliability
- Provide leadership and mentorship to DevOps engineers, fostering skill development and innovation
- Ensure security and compliance standards are met across AWS environments
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering, including team leadership
- Deep expertise in AWS networking (VPC, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, Route 53 hybrid configurations)
- Strong experience managing AWS Organizations and SCPs for secure multi-account architectures
- Advanced proficiency in Terraform for AWS infrastructure automation and best practices
- Hands-on experience with API Gateway & AWS Lambda (Python) for cloud-native applications
- In-depth understanding of IAM roles, STS, federation, and policy management
- Proven experience managing EC2, S3 bucket policies, and Lambda in production environments
- Intermediate-level knowledge of Python 3 for scripting and automation
- Experience leading agile teams and driving DevOps initiatives
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- B2+ English level for effective collaboration in an international team
