Role Overview:
We are looking for a QA Lead – Automation Testing who will take ownership of test strategy, automation frameworks, and quality assurance processes for our enterprise communication solutions. This role requires a strong background in test automation, API testing, and cloud-based application testing. The ideal candidate will lead the QA team, drive best practices, and ensure the delivery of high-quality products in a fast-paced environment.
This position requires a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in QA automation. Freshers or less experienced candidates need not apply.
Responsibilities:
- Test Strategy & Automation: Design, develop, and implement robust automation test frameworks for API, web, and mobile applications.
- QA Leadership: Lead and mentor the QA team, ensuring best practices in test automation and quality assurance.
- Test Execution: Develop, execute, and maintain automated test cases using Selenium, Appium, JMeter, and other relevant tools.
- Performance & Security Testing: Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of applications through performance and security testing methodologies.
- CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated testing within the CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
- Defect Management: Work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to identify, document, and resolve defects.
- Cloud Testing: Perform cloud-based testing on AWS environments.
- Regression & UAT Support: Manage regression test suites and assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) processes.
- Agile Collaboration: Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings, providing QA insights and test coverage analysis.
Qualifications:
- B.E./B. Tech/M.E./M. Tech in Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Information Technology (IT), or Electronics & Communication (E&C).
- Experience: 8-10 years in QA automation and software testing.
- Automation Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with Selenium, Appium, JMeter, Postman, and API automation frameworks.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript for test automation scripting.
- CI/CD Knowledge: Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar DevOps tools for automation in CI/CD pipelines.
- Cloud Experience: Testing experience on AWS.
- Agile & DevOps Exposure: Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps-driven testing approaches.
- Security & Performance Testing: Knowledge of security testing tools like OWASP ZAP and performance testing tools like JMeter.
- Database Testing: Experience in testing databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
