Senior DevOps Engineer (Hybrid)
Optomi, in partnership with a leading broadband communications company, is seeking a Software Developer IV for their Greenwood Village, CO location. The right candidate will be proficient in typescript, API implementation, and have experience with unit testing. This candidate will also be comfortable working with microservices architecture. Experience of the right candidate:
- Terraform – Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- AWS – Deep understanding of cloud services, networking, security, and best practices.
- Scripting & Automation – Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for infrastructure automation.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Bamboo.
- Knowledge of cloud security frameworks and best practices.
- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Responsibilities of the right candidate:
- Design, implement, and manage secure and scalable AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
- Automate deployments, infrastructure provisioning, and system maintenance with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Establish and enforce security best practices and compliance policies for cloud-based applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop cloud governance frameworks and optimize DevOps processes.
- Troubleshoot and optimize CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless software releases.
- Proactively identify and resolve infrastructure bottlenecks, improving system reliability and scalability.
