Job Description:
We are looking for highly motivated and passionate cloud and backend interns who will build, scale, and maintain Emotorad’s cloud infrastructure for our electric bikes and business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain a data ingestion pipeline to capture real-time data from bikes
- Adding features for the EV mobile app to serve users data such as ride statistics and fitness goal completions
- Creating predictive features like bike maintenance and health monitoring
- Scaling and maintaining the backend infrastructure for all microservices
- Improving, deploying, and maintaining the Emotorad websites written in the MERN stack
- Assist in hiring and development of technical talent
Basic Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of commonly used data structures and algorithms
- Strong knowledge of any software development language with an object-oriented design
- Strong coding and problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of technologies worked with
- Experience with building React applications
- Experience with automated testing
- Experience in making highly available systems that scale
- Familiarity with version control for software development
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge and experience of CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with AWS, GCP, and Azure with certifications
- Experience with networking concepts like protocols, DNS, routing, etc.
- Prior experience with any of the following technologies:
- MQTT
- Cassandra/ScyllaDB
- ClickHouse
- Apache Kafka
- Apache Flink
