What You Will Be Doing…
We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS cloud services, infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and security best practices to ensure a robust and secure DevOps environment.
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
- Maintain and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure using services like EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM, and VPC.
- Ensure security best practices by implementing IAM policies, security groups, encryption, and compliance monitoring.
- Improve system reliability, scalability, and availability through automation and monitoring tools.
- Conduct security assessments and work on security score improvements for cloud infrastructure.
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues using logging and monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK, etc.).
- Collaborate with development and security teams to ensure smooth software delivery.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends in DevOps, cloud security, and automation.
What We Are Looking For…
You’ll need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of work experience.
- Hands-on experience in DevOps and AWS cloud services.
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, etc.).
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Experience with security best practices in AWS (IAM, VPC security, encryption, compliance frameworks).
- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS).
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).
- Knowledge of network security, firewalls, and intrusion detection.
- Familiarity with compliance standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, or CIS benchmarks) is a plus.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
- AWS certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Security Specialty, etc.).
- Experience with Secrets Management (AWS Secrets Manager, HashiCorp Vault).
- Exposure to serverless computing (AWS Lambda, API Gateway).
