What we are looking for: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer with Site Reliability (SRE) experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in consulting, monitoring, and incident response, with a proven track record of working effectively with both developers and testers.
Role: DevOps Engineer
Location: Hyderabad
Work Mode: Office Shift timings: Overlapping US shift (2 PM to 11 PM), can leave by 6 PM
Years of experience: 5 + years
Mandatory Skills:
• A solid understanding of role and responsibilities of an SRE.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, and deployment methodologies.
• Experience with working in a team, using collaboration and Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
• Ability to work effectively with both developers and testers.
• Experience in monitoring and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Nagios, Zabbix)
• Experience in building or maintaining dashboards (e.g., Grafana, Kibana, Datadog).
• Programming experience in any language, such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, or other “glue code” for IaC, and automation manual tasks and reports.
• Excellent English communication skills.
Nice to Haves:
• Proven experience as a software consultant.
• Experience with editing CI/CD pipeline tools, such as TeamCity, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure
DevOps.
• Any experience supporting a team of software test automation engineers.
• Experience with root cause analysis in a N-Tier web application using monitoring and dashboards.
• Docker and/or container orchestration experience (Docker, Kubernetes) • Database query experience, such as in MS SQL or Oracle.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Bicep or Terraform.
Experience in migrating onsite web applications to the cloud.
• Experience in source control tools such as Git, GitHub, or similar tools.
• An understanding of how to use GitHub Copilot to expand productivity
