DevOps Engineer
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to support government systems by integrating automation, security, and operational efficiency into software development and deployment processes. This role is part of an innovation-driven technology team, ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable applications.

What You Will Do:
- Develop and maintain secure and scalable DevOps pipelines integrating continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD), and security best practices.
- Automate deployment, configuration, and monitoring of infrastructure and applications using modern tools and technologies.
- Implement security controls throughout the software development lifecycle to enhance compliance and risk mitigation.
- Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and resolve potential threats.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to security and privacy.
- Integrate security tools such as static analysis, dynamic analysis, and container security into CI/CD workflows.
- Monitor security incidents and alerts, coordinating with teams for timely remediation.
- Provide technical guidance to development and operations teams on security and DevOps best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and propose proactive solutions.
- Collaborate with development teams to incorporate security into software design and architecture.
- Participate in code reviews and suggest security enhancements.
- Document processes, procedures, and best practices to improve team efficiency.
What You Need:
- 4+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Security Engineer, or similar role.
- Experience with Node.js, npm, and yarn.
- Knowledge of DevOps principles, CI/CD, and cloud-native application development.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Familiarity with security frameworks (NIST, CIS, OWASP) and compliance standards.
- Experience with security tools such as vulnerability scanners, intrusion detection systems, and log analysis tools.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications such as Certified DevSecOps Engineer, CISSP, or equivalent.
- Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, mathematics, or a related discipline.
Compensation:
- Salary Range: $98,000 - $163,000 (based on skills, experience, and qualifications).
