Key Responsibilities:
At Celona, the Devops engineering team is responsible for designing, building, and supporting all the platform infrastructure on which Celona’s stack runs. We leverage cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, Azure, and Kubernetes to deliver innovative solutions. Our team is committed to maintaining high operational standards, ensuring compliance with SOC2 requirements, and optimizing our cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, and scalability.
We are seeking a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our multi-cloud environments, supporting SOC2 compliance initiatives, monitoring cloud costs, and enabling efficient workflows for our engineering teams.
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Kubernetes: Administer and optimize managed Kubernetes clusters (e.g., EKS, GKE, AKS) and ensure their reliability and scalability.
- Infrastructure as Code: Develop, maintain, and enhance infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible and other IaC tools.
- SOC2 Compliance: Collaborate with the security and compliance teams to implement and document processes required for SOC2 compliance audits, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Cost Optimization: Monitor and optimize cloud costs across production and QA accounts, providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Scripting and Automation: Develop, maintain, and debug scripts to automate the launch of devtest stacks and other processes to support engineers.
- Monitoring and Logging: Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure the health and performance of cloud resources.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and security teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines, enhance development workflows, and support new feature rollouts.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in a DevOps, Cloud Engineer, or related role.
- Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, Azure and Alibaba including resource deployment, scaling, and monitoring.
- Kubernetes: Proficiency in managing managed Kubernetes clusters (EKS, GKE, AKS) and container orchestration tools.
- Infrastructure as Code: Strong knowledge of Terraform and other infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Automation: Expertise in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Cost Management: Familiarity with cloud cost monitoring tools and strategies for cost optimization.
- Compliance: Experience with SOC2 or other compliance frameworks is a plus.
- Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for cloud infrastructure and DevOps pipelines.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, teamwork, and time-management abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Circle CI, JenkinsX
- Knowledge of logging and monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Loki, ELK
