Job Details:
Lead the deprecation of the existing API Gateway, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal service disruption.
Design and implement a modernized service layer, leveraging microservices and cloud-native architectures.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments, ensuring seamless integration of new services.
Work with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration tools to deploy and manage services efficiently.
Implement API security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, OpenID Connect) for the new service layer.
Collaborate with software engineers to refactor and migrate legacy services to modern frameworks and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Optimize networking, load balancing, and traffic routing for improved performance and scalability.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance system reliability using observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog).
Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, actively participating in planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Document best practices, architecture decisions, and migration strategies for future scalability and maintenance.
