We are seeking a skilled
remote Lead DevOps with a minimum of 5 years of experience in
AWS for our team.
The ideal candidate must have strong experience in AWS Containers and hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, and Docker.
The candidate must have experience in operating high-availability, fault-tolerant, scalable, distributed software in production and diagnosing and solving user-facing service outages. The candidate should have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills and solid communication skills with team members.
Responsibilities
- Oversee, maintain, and improve the deployment pipeline, ensuring continuous delivery of the software
- Plan and execute complex, large-scale automation tasks using Terraform
- Collaborate with understanding cross-functional teams of developers, enterprise architects, and infrastructure engineers
- Manage AWS cloud infrastructure and diagnose and solve user-facing service outages
- Instill a culture of operational maturity while continuously improving service availability and reliability
- Help organize and lead a team of DevOps engineers
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps with exposure to AWS
- 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
- Strong experience in Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, and Docker
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins, and Linux
- Strong skills in Kibana and Grafana
- Experience operating high-availability, fault-tolerant, scalable, distributed software in production
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Solid communication skills with team members
- English level of upper-intermediate proficiency (B2+)
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience in Bash and working with MongoDB
- Experience building web services and clients using REST
- Exposure to CI/CD tools and practices
