You will be responsible for…
- Proposing and implementing advanced cloud architectures, in continuous alignment with key cloud providers, such as AWS and Google
- Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure.
- Support the continuous evolution of bolttech’s infrastructure as code approach, ensuring advanced levels of automation throughout the lifecycle of all workloads.
- Ensuring there are no single points of failure in the infrastructure.
- Continuously improving efficiency when setting up new cloud infrastructure and maintaining existing instances, ensuring automation, resilience, and security.
skills:
- Experience with Docker
- Experience with Linux systems management
- Proven experience in Kubernetes
- Experience with Git, GitHub, BitBucket or Stash
- Experience with CI and CD tools (Jenkins, Bamboo or similar)
- Solid Experience with at least a programming/scripting language (Python, Ruby, Bash, GO, Java, Node.js, PHP)
- Experience with application and system monitoring tools (such as Datadog, Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus, ElasticSearch, Kibana)
- Experience in the configuration, management and troubleshooting of web servers (Apache, NGINX), database systems (SQL and Non SQL), caching (Cassandra, Redis, Memcache or others) and queues (RabbitMQ, ZeroMQ or similar)
- Experience working as a DevOps or Cloud Engineer in an agile and fast paced environment
- Experience in a continuous integration/deploy environment
- Experience with AWS
- Automation experience in the context of a micro-service/SOA architecture.
The following skills are not mandatory but will be valued
- Experience with ArgoCD, Argo Rollouts, Argo Workflows, Argo Events, FluxCD, Tekton
- Knowledge about Kyverno, OPA (Open Policy Agent)
- Experience with the implementation of a Service Mesh (for example, Istio, Linkerd, Kong Mesh)
- Knowledge about Consul
- Experience with Kubernetes native "infrastructure provider" tools such as Crossplane, AWS's ACK (AWS Controllers for Kubernetes), Google's Config Connector, Azure's ASO (which stands for Azure Service Operator)
- Knowledge about one or more of the following: Helm, Kustomize, Grafana's Tanka, VMWare's carvel ytt
- Experience with Backup tools like Velero for Kubernetes
- Experience with Vault
