We are a cutting-edge trading firm leveraging advanced technology to stay at the forefront of financial markets. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Kubernetes Engineer to design, implement, and manage our Kubernetes infrastructure, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain Kubernetes clusters to support trading applications.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring low-latency and high-availability.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Collaborate with software engineering and DevOps teams to integrate services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues.
- Ensure security and compliance within Kubernetes environments.
- Drive improvements in reliability, scalability, and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years of experience in systems engineering or DevOps roles.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience managing Kubernetes clusters in production.
- Proficiency with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, security protocols, and Linux systems.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in low-latency trading environments.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Go.
