Our client is currently seeking a DevOps Engineer with extensive OpenShift experience
This is a contract to hire role that must be done hybrid in Chicago
W2 only, no C2C or Third parties
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Move microservices to AWS and build automated CI/CD configurations
- Manage the Ansible tower to automate tasks, deploy applications and make changes
- Build application development and deployment pipeline that enable data scientists and business analysts to easily consume cloud-native services
- Adapt to new technologies and approaches for the product as they move toward cloud-based deployments leveraging containers on Kubernetes
- Build Jenkins jobs to create AWS infrastructure from GitHub repos containing terraform code.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience with Kubernetes - OpenShift(OCP) at a platform level
- Experience with any one OpenShift / K8s supported Networking CNI. (Plus if you know Calico )
- Experience with AWS infrastructure (VPC / Security groups / EC2 / Storages / Load Balancers)
- Experience doing OCP upgrades and creating OCP Clusters
- Experience of platform automation products like RH ACM / Terraform / Ansible
rate: 60-65/hr
