Position Title: Cloud Architect Lead - India
Position Summary:
As a Cloud Architect Lead with 8-12 years of experience you will play a pivotal role in driving the adoption of cloud technologies within our organization. You will be responsible for providing technical leadership, guiding development teams, and ensuring the successful implementation of cloud-based solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance to development teams along with evaluating and recommending cloud technologies that align with organization’s overall business goals.
- Application Architecture:
- Design and document robust, scalable, and maintainable application architectures specifically tailored for cloud environments.
- Ensure application architectures adhere to best practices for cloud-native development, security, and performance.
- Conduct architectural reviews and provide guidance on architectural decisions.
- Application Development Experience: Possesses a substantial and diverse background in developing cloud-native applications, demonstrating proficiency in modern development methodologies, languages, and technologies.
- Cloud Native Security: Expert in designing and implementing robust cloud security solutions, encompassing identity and access management (IAM), network security, data encryption (at rest and in transit), vulnerability management, security monitoring, and compliance frameworks.
- Cloud Solutioning: Design and implement scalable, secure and cost-effective cloud solutions.
- Cloud Governance: Establish and maintain cloud governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Cloud Operations: Manage the day-to-day operations of cloud environments, including monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Infrastructure Optimization Metrics: Ability to define, track, and analyze infrastructure optimization metrics (e.g., resource utilization, performance, cost) to drive continuous improvement.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- 8-12 years of experience in Application Architecture/Deployment with a strong focus on Cloud centric offerings.
- Extensive experience in Cloud-Native technologies and relevant architectures including containerization, microservices architecture, serverless computing, API management and service mesh technologies.
- Experience into SRE (Site reliability engineer)
- Experience in creating and maintaining CI/CD pipeline for software applications and AI/ML models.
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V etc.).
- Well-versed in DevOps and MLOps
- Cloud-based (AWS/Azure) deployment of models, performance monitoring and troubleshooting
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team and proven ability to lead and mentor a team.
- Preferred Qualifications: Azure Certified Solutions Architect
