Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure Cloud Engineering, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automation.
Key Skills:
- Azure Cloud Engineering: Leverage Azure computing, storage, and database management services.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitOps, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and monitoring tools.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources using tools like Terraform and Azure Resource Manager
- Automation & Config Management: Utilize HELM, ARM, Terraform, and ASO to maintain consistent and repeatable environments.
- Resiliency: Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and fault tolerance in cloud-based applications.
- Version Control: Manage repositories using GitHub, including GitOps and branching models (Gitflow/Trunk Based).
- Networking: Understanding of virtual networks, subnets, load balancers, firewalls, DNS, and VPNs in a cloud environment
- Security: Implement cloud security best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, key vaults, and compliance
Additional Skills(Preferred):
- Coding experience in C#.
- Knowledge of Angular, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with corporate network architects, cloud architects, project teams and participate in the architecture review board reviews in defining the cloud infrastructure for the project
- Focuses on securing the cloud environment by implementing security measures, monitoring for threats, and ensuring compliance with relevant company regulations.
- Oversees the day-to-day operations of the cloud environment by ensuring that services are available, performant, and cost-effective.
- Manages platform maturity, governance, and automation to ensure that cloud adoption efforts align with organizational policies and standards.
- Drives the technical changes needed for cloud adoption. Manage technical solutions, business alignment, project management, and operations for adopted solutions by maintaining a secure, efficient, and scalable cloud environment.
