Noblis is seeking experienced professionals to support the navy’s large enterprise networks. These roles will support critical engineering, technical, and programmatic efforts in alignment with PEO Digital, PMW 205, and NIWC Pacific requirements. Team members will work on the design, development, implementation, and sustainment of Navy IT systems, including modernization efforts such as cloud infrastructure and network convergence. Positions require collaboration with government and contractor personnel in a dynamic environment with both CONUS and OCONUS responsibilities.
The
Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Levels III and IV) will support the design, deployment, and sustainment of cloud-based solutions for the NEN program. This role focuses on modernizing Navy IT environments by implementing hybrid cloud architectures, enhancing system scalability, and ensuring compliance with DoD cybersecurity and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions in alignment with PEO Digital and PMW 205 modernization initiatives.
- Deploy and manage hybrid cloud environments, integrating on-premises and commercial cloud solutions.
- Support the transition of Navy enterprise IT services to cloud platforms, optimizing performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
- Ensure cloud infrastructure complies with DoD cybersecurity requirements, including STIGs, RMF, and Zero Trust principles.
- Automate cloud infrastructure deployment and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps methodologies.
- Troubleshoot cloud performance and security issues, implementing proactive monitoring and optimization strategies.
- Collaborate with network, security, and software teams to ensure seamless cloud integration.
Required Qualifications
Level III
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 7+ years of IT professional experience.
- Compensation: $102,500 - $160,100
Level IV
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 14+ years (Bachelor’s) of relevant professional experience.
(OR Master's Degree and 10+ years)
- Compensation: $124,000 - $193,750
- Expertise in designing and managing hybrid cloud infrastructures.
- Experience with cloud security frameworks, compliance, and DoD-specific requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to optimize cloud performance and scalability.
- Must have a Secret clearance.
- US Citizenship required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or other cloud service providers.
- Familiarity with Zero Trust frameworks and cloud-based security architectures.
- Proficiency in automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or PowerShell.
- Hands-on experience with DoD cloud security compliance, including STIGs and RMF.

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package.
