About the Role
You will be joining a team of Cloud Migration Specialists. The role focuses on automating deployments, managing infrastructure, and ensuring reliability within a GKE environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Experience with containerising applications and managing containerized environments. Understanding of Kubernetes concepts (pods, deployments, services, etc.) is crucial.
- GKE Management : Deploying, managing, and scaling Kubernetes clusters on GKE. Implementing best practices for GKE security and performance.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Cloud Build, Jenkins, or GitLab CI. Automating application deployments to GKE. Implementing automated testing and release processes.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Using Terraform or Deployment Manager to provision and manage GCP resources.
- Monitoring and Logging: Setting up and maintaining monitoring and logging solutions using Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging & other Open Source Tools
- Ensuring consistent configurations across servers. Experience with playbooks, recipes, and manifests.
Required Skillset
- 1 year of hands-on experience with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
- Proficiency with containerization technologies (Docker)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Cloud Build, Jenkins, etc.)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Deployment Manager).
- Strong understanding of monitoring and logging tools (Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging).
- Knowledge of networking and security principles.
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems.
- Experience with scripting languages like Python or Bash.
