DevOps Engineer (Hybrid - Charlotte, NC)
Optomi, in partnership with a leader in the energy sector, is seeking DevOps Engineer for a hybrid position in Charlotte, NC! The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SharePoint administration, Azure App Registrations, and CI/CD pipelines, with the ability to collaborate with developers and make high-level recommendations to enhance DevOps operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and develop solutions for SharePoint, with a strong focus on migrating from on-premises to SharePoint 365 in the cloud.
- Manage Azure App Registrations and implement scripting and automation for improved workflows.
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub and Jenkins to streamline deployment processes.
- Work with the development team to provide high-level training, guidance, and recommendations on DevOps processes.
- Collaborate on building and optimizing DevOps practices within the portfolio.
- Assist in migrating various services to cloud platforms, with a focus on SharePoint and Azure environments.
- Support and manage workflows in Nintex, ensuring smooth automation and task execution.
- Provide administrative support across the server environment and assist with Linux administration as needed.
- Bring forward solutions and help improve overall DevOps practices across teams.
Qualifications:
- SharePoint Administration (Experience with SharePoint DevOps pipelines, migrations from on-prem to cloud is essential)
- Azure App Registrations
- CI/CD Pipeline Setup and Deployment (Experience with GitHub, Jenkins, and CI/CD tools)
- Power Platform (Familiarity with Power Automate, PowerApps, or Power BI)
- AWS Exposure (Azure experience is preferred but AWS knowledge is beneficial)
- Scripting & Automation (Experience with PowerShell scripting)
- Linux Administration (Beneficial but not required)
- Nintex Workflows (Understanding and experience with Nintex automation)
- SQL Basics
