Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect with over 10 years of expertise in solution design to join our team on a 6-month contract. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud-based solutions, ensuring they align with business objectives and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Architect and design scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and DevOps teams to define cloud architecture strategies.
Lead solution design discussions, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements.
Develop and implement cloud migration strategies for existing on-premises applications.
Optimize cloud architecture for performance, security, and cost efficiency.
Ensure compliance with industry security standards and best practices.
Document architecture and solution designs, providing guidance to engineering teams.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in solution design and cloud architecture.
Hands-on expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms.
Strong experience with microservices architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless computing.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
Solid understanding of networking, security, and identity management in cloud environments.
Experience in cloud cost optimization and performance tuning.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect) are a plus.
