We are seeking a skilled IT Infrastructure Engineer with expertise in Puppet and operating systems (Linux and Windows) to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage configuration management solutions using Puppet.
- Automate system administration tasks and streamline deployment processes.
- Maintain and optimize Linux and Windows server environments.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of applications.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and processes.
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide support for production systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
- Strong expertise in Puppet for configuration management and automation.
- Proficiency in Linux (CentOS, Ubuntu) and Windows Server administration.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Certification in Puppet, Linux, or Windows administration.
