Complete knowledge in Linux administration with Dev Ops / Ansible as secondary skills
RedHat Linux upgradation or migration experience.
Technical Proficiency and Expertise (including but are not limited to the following).
Server Installation and maintenance, server upgradation and patches of all hardware, operating system, and operational utilities on RedHat Linux systems.
Monitors, schedules, and implements server storage expansions, as required for client needs.
Provides research, communicates, and implements "Best Practices" for server tuning.
Linux Preferred Proficiency and Expertise.
Knowledge of Linux LVM (Logical Volume Management).
Knowledge of RedHat Satellite Server (Build, Kickstart, Deploy).
Knowledge of CIFS and NFS.
Knowledge of Storage Area Networks and SAN.
Knowledge of RedHat Linux Networking and Bonding.
Ability to work with global resources to implement servers, and resolve issues.
Participates in on-call rotation.
Customer interaction and communication skills.
Adheres to documented, approved standards.
Plans and coordinates infrastructure requests to accommodate server requests.
Coordinates and plans with other support groups and vendors to provide emergency and scheduled maintenance in an effective timeframe.
Responsible for coordinating requested changes, and minimizing the business impact of those changes. Understand and follow operational processes and policies.
Responsibilities
Manage and maintain Linux-based systems to ensure high availability and performance.
Implement and manage automation using Ansible to streamline operations and reduce manual tasks.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement infrastructure solutions.
Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations processes and procedures.
Provide technical support and guidance to team members and other departments.
Ensure security and compliance standards are met across all systems.
Perform regular system updates and patches to maintain system integrity.
Conduct performance tuning and capacity planning to support business growth.
Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing to ensure business continuity.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to improve infrastructure efficiency.
Assist in the development and implementation of infrastructure-related projects.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
Must have strong experience with Linux operating systems.
Must have hands-on experience with Ansible for automation.
Should have excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Should have experience with system monitoring and performance tuning.
Should have knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards.
Nice to have experience with other automation tools and scripting languages.
Nice to have experience with cloud infrastructure and services.
Must have strong communication and collaboration skills.
Should be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Should have a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

Certifications Required
Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or equivalent certification in Linux and Ansible.
