Infrastructure & System Administration
Assist in provisioning cloud resources (VMs, storage, networking) under senior guidance.
Learn and support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CDK, Ansible, and related tools.
Perform basic OS-level administration (Ubuntu, RHEL, Windows), including patches and updates.
Help manage backups and disaster recovery processes.
Understand and apply fundamental cloud cost optimization practices.
- CI/CD & Build Pipeline Support
Contribute to setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab).
Troubleshoot build and deployment failures under supervision.
Assist in integrating automated security scans within CI/CD pipelines.
Learn deployment strategies (blue-green, rolling, canary) to reduce downtime.
Maintain documentation for pipeline configurations and troubleshooting guides.
- Containerization & Orchestration
Gain hands-on experience building and managing Docker containers.
Assist in deploying and troubleshooting containerized applications on Kubernetes (EKS, AKS).
Learn to create and update Helm charts to streamline deployments.
Support monitoring of container and Kubernetes environments (Skywalking, Prometheus).
Troubleshoot basic container networking under guidance.
Assist in setting up monitoring and alerting solutions (Grafana, Prometheus, AWS CloudWatch).
Configure basic alerts for CPU, memory, and network utilization.
Help manage log aggregation using ELK stack, CloudWatch, or Skywalking.

Participate in incident resolution processes and post-mortems to identify improvement areas.
- Security & Compliance Support
Learn and support Identity and Access Management (IAM) configurations in AWS and Azure.
Assist in managing secrets and credentials (HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager).
Support SSL/TLS certificate management to ensure secure communications.
Conduct basic vulnerability scans and compliance checks in pipelines.
Document discovered security issues and resolutions.
- Incident Response & Disaster Recovery
Participate in incident triaging and root cause analysis (RCA) sessions.
Learn to execute disaster recovery plans under supervision.
Contribute to automation scripts that aid in system recovery.
Document incident resolution procedures for knowledge sharing.
Work with senior team members to troubleshoot networking and firewall issues.
- Networking & Cloud Operations
Assist in configuring VPCs, subnets, and security groups in AWS and Azure.
Troubleshoot basic networking issues such as latency, DNS, and firewall misconfigurations.
Help configure load balancers for routing application traffic.
Gain exposure to hybrid cloud networking (VPN, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute).
Document common networking issues and resolutions.
- Process Automation & DevOps Innovation
Write basic scripts (Bash, Python, Ansible) to automate repetitive tasks.
Automate routine system maintenance tasks where possible.
Support implementation of chatbots or other automation frameworks for DevOps workflows.
Assist in evaluating new DevOps tools and improving existing processes.
- Documentation, Training & Learning
Maintain clear and organized documentation for deployments, troubleshooting, and best practices.
Participate in internal training sessions and workshops for development teams.
Contribute to a shared knowledge base by documenting common issues and solutions.
Stay updated on emerging DevOps trends, tools, and certifications.
Actively engage in team discussions, retrospectives, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (Preferred)
Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (Preferred)
0–2 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, system administration, or cloud engineering.
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and CI/CD tools.
