Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure across AWS and GCP environments.
- Build and manage Kubernetes (EKS/GKE) clusters, including autoscaling, Helm deployments, upgrades, and observability.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, following best practices in infrastructure as code (IaC).
- Implement and manage secret management solutions using HashiCorp Vault or AWS Secrets Manager.
- Set up centralized logging and monitoring systems using ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, and cloud-native tooling.
- Enforce DevSecOps practices, including vulnerability scanning, RBAC, and compliance in CI/CD workflows.
- Collaborate closely with development and QA teams to support application delivery across environments.
- Take full ownership of building and managing DevOps systems from scratch.
- Document infrastructure, workflows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and incident responses in a clear, structured, and version-controlled format.
Required Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps/SRE roles.
- Strong expertise in AWS (EKS, EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch) and working knowledge of GCP (GKE, IAM, GCS, etc.).
- Experience managing Kubernetes clusters and deploying using Helm.
- Proficient in Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline creation and orchestration.
- Strong knowledge of Terraform, with experience managing IaC in production environments.
- Hands-on experience with HashiCorp Vault or equivalent secret management tools.
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, or OpenSearch.
- Good scripting abilities in Bash, Python, or Go.
- Strong understanding of Linux, networking, DNS, SSL/TLS, and system hardening.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps tools such as Trivy, Snyk, or Aqua Security.
- Excellent documentation skills – ability to clearly record architecture diagrams, runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and automation workflows.
