Job Summary:
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Application Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in automating, optimizing, and supporting mission-critical deployments in cloud environments. The candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based applications and infrastructure using platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure. They ensure scalability, security, and performance of cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Designing Cloud Architecture: Building secure, scalable, and resilient cloud environments.
- Application Deployment Using cloud services or custom application builds.
- Security & Compliance: Implementing IAM policies, encryption, and compliance standards. Ensure compliance with security standards and implement the best practices in cloud security.
- DevOps Integration: CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.
- Collaborate with development, QA and operations teams to support cloud-native and hybrid applications.
- Implement and maintain container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker Swarm).
- Monitor cloud environments and implement proactive measures for reliability and cost-efficiency and Ensure system reliability, availability, and performance through monitoring and alerting tools.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnosing and resolving cloud-related, application related issues.
Skills Required:
- Cloud Platforms (Must Have): Deep knowledge of AWS and Azure services (EC2, S3, Lambda, Azure Functions, Azure Blob Storage, etc.).
- Programming Languages (One or More): Python, Java, C#, PowerShell, Bash.
- Networking (Intermediate): DNS, VPN, IP addressing, load balancing.
- Security (Must Have): IAM, encryption, firewalls, access control.
- DevOps Tools (Must Have): Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git.
- Database Management (One or More): Amazon RDS, DynamoDB, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA/CKAD, or similar.
- Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect.
- Experience with serverless architectures and microservices.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
