Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced
Senior Cloud Engineer with over 10 years of IT experience, including at least 5 years of hands-on expertise in
AWS cloud environments. The ideal candidate will bring strong cloud engineering, automation, and security skills, along with experience working on enterprise-scale platforms. Relevant certifications will be considered an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using best practices.
- Manage and configure IAM users, roles, and policies to ensure secure access and compliance.
- Work with AWS CloudFormation and automation scripts to streamline infrastructure provisioning.
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure cloud security measures are implemented and maintained.
- Manage and optimize Linux-based systems in cloud and hybrid environments.
- Provide support for Cloudera platform management, configuration, and integration.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and automation.
- Participate in performance tuning, capacity planning, and cost optimization for AWS services.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of overall IT experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on AWS cloud engineering experience.
- Strong experience with AWS core services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.).
- Proficient in Linux administration.
- Experience with CloudFormation and infrastructure automation.
- Knowledge of Cloudera ecosystem.
- Experience creating and managing IAM roles, policies, and security controls.
- Strong security best-practices mindset for cloud environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, Security Specialty).
- Experience in enterprise-level cloud security and compliance projects.
