Role Overview
We’re hiring an Engineering Manager with deep technical expertise, strong execution skills, and experience leading teams that deliver production-grade software. You’ll work closely with Product and AI teams to drive architecture, delivery, and performance across backend systems that power our agentic automation platform.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You should be comfortable diving into code, designing scalable systems, and setting a high bar for engineering quality.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers delivering AI-integrated backend systems
- Design and review architecture for scalability, reliability, and performance
- Guide and unblock engineers across design, implementation, and deployment
- Ensure clean, well-tested code and solid system observability
- Partner with AI, DevOps, and Product to turn concepts into shipped features
- Drive planning, estimates, and team-level execution
- Own hiring, mentorship, and growth within your team
Key Requirements
- 6 to 8 years of experience in backend engineering
- At least 1 to 2 years in a tech lead or engineering manager role
- Strong in system design, API design, and service-oriented architecture
- Proficient in .NET Core (preferred) or similar backend stacks like Python or Node.js
- Experience building distributed systems using microservices and message queues
- Familiarity with AI, LLM APIs, or agent-based workflows (integration or conceptual understanding is sufficient)
- Experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS
- Proficiency in containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
- Proven track record of delivering production systems in high-performance environments
- Experience with Kafka, Redis, or other event-streaming and data caching systems
- Exposure to prompt engineering or chaining LLM APIs into workflows
- Experience hiring and building high-performing engineering teams
