About the Role
We are seeking an accomplished Senior Project Manager with over 15 years of proven expertise in leading large-scale technology programs. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in Project & Program Management, combined with deep exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions, DevOps practices, and GCP Cloud Delivery. This individual will be responsible for orchestrating cross-functional teams, ensuring end-to-end project success, and delivering cutting-edge digital transformation initiatives for global clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage large-scale AI and cloud transformation programs from initiation to delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
- Drive the adoption of Agile/DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and automation practices across engineering teams.
- Oversee the delivery of AI/ML models, data pipelines, and cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data scientists, architects, and cloud engineers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Manage budgets, resources, risks, and dependencies to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Define and monitor KPIs, success metrics, and governance frameworks for program health and delivery.
- Provide thought leadership in AI, DevOps, and Cloud modernization, advising clients on best practices and delivery strategies.
- Mentor and guide junior project managers, scrum masters, and delivery leads.
Required Skills & Experience
- 15+ years of experience in IT project/program management, with at least 5+ years in AI, DevOps, and Cloud delivery projects.
- Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) delivery, including services such as BigQuery, AI Platform, Vertex AI, Kubernetes (GKE), and Cloud Functions.
- Proven experience delivering AI/ML solutions, data engineering pipelines, and cloud-native architectures.
- Solid understanding of DevOps tools & practices (CI/CD, GitOps, Jenkins, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker).
- Deep knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and SAFe frameworks with a track record of successful large-scale agile program execution.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills with experience engaging CXOs and senior business executives.
- Strong risk management, budgeting, and vendor coordination expertise.
- Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, CSM/SAFe Agilist, and GCP Cloud Architect/Engineer preferred.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to multi-cloud and hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with MLOps and scaling AI workloads in production.
- Industry knowledge in Telecom, BFSI, Retail, or Healthcare domains.
- Prior experience in setting up AI/Cloud Centers of Excellence (CoE) or transformation offices.
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
- Advanced certifications in Cloud, AI/ML, or Project Management are highly desirable.
