We are seeking an accomplished
Cloud Architect with a strong background in
Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will have 10-14 years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud computing, and solution architecture, with proven expertise in designing, deploying, and managing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud-native design, hybrid and multi-cloud strategies, and modern DevOps practices to drive enterprise-wide cloud adoption and transformation.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end design and architecture of solutions on Google Cloud Platform, ensuring scalability, security, performance, and high availability.
- Partner with stakeholders across engineering, product, and operations teams to translate business requirements into robust cloud solutions.
- Define cloud strategies, adoption roadmaps, and migration frameworks to modernize legacy workloads and infrastructure.
- Implement cloud governance, security frameworks, and compliance standards to safeguard applications and data.
- Evaluate and recommend GCP services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Functions for different workloads.
- Provide architectural oversight for cloud-native applications, data pipelines, API integrations, and microservices deployment.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to define CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automated deployment frameworks using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins.
- Optimize cloud costs by designing efficient resource utilization strategies, monitoring usage patterns, and implementing cost-control measures.
- Mentor engineering teams by sharing best practices, conducting training sessions, and fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies, trends, and GCP innovations to continually enhance enterprise cloud capabilities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 10-14 years of total IT experience, with at least 5+ years in cloud architecture and design.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including compute, networking, storage, identity management, and data services.
- Proven track record in cloud architecture, solution design, and enterprise cloud migration projects.
- Solid understanding of cloud security, IAM, encryption, network segmentation, and compliance requirements.
- Experience in Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration for modern application deployment.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or equivalent tools.
- Strong background in networking concepts, distributed systems, and high-availability design.
- Exposure to multi-cloud and hybrid cloud solutions and integration with on-premises infrastructure.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
- Professional certifications such as Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect or equivalent are highly desirable
