Salary: $160,000 - $185,000 DOE + Bonus

As part of their digital transformation initiatives, they are seeking a talented AWS DevOps Engineer to help modernize and scale their cloud infrastructure and deployment capabilities.
Role Overview:
As an AWS DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in building and maintaining secure, scalable, and automated cloud environments. You’ll work closely with software engineering, infrastructure, and cybersecurity teams to support the deployment of financial applications and services. This position requires deep expertise in AWS, infrastructure as code, containerization, and automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and related tools.
- Build and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Automate operational tasks and improve system reliability through scripting and monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with financial industry security standards and best practices.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support agile development and deployment cycles.
- Stay current with AWS innovations and DevOps trends to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a strong background in AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, and RDS.
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and tools (e.g., AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Familiarity with security and compliance in financial environments.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
