Our client, a global investment banking firm, is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their infrastructure team in New York, NY or Los Angeles, CA.
This role focuses on building automation, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365, ensuring secure, scalable, and efficient systems. You’ll collaborate across development, infrastructure, and security teams to deliver innovative solutions that drive business value.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Bicep and/or Terraform.
- Automate workflows and operational tasks using Python, Bash, JavaScript, and PowerShell.
- Support Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services, including compute, networking, security, and monitoring.
- Implement containerization strategies and manage AKS/Kubernetes clusters.
- Develop system integrations and APIs using Azure Logic Apps, Function Apps, and RESTful APIs.
- Implement monitoring, security scanning, and compliance automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
- Design and support data lake architectures and analytics platforms.
- Drive AI-powered automation and integrations using Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Azure AI Foundry.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to DevOps-related incidents as needed.
Qualifications
- 7+ years in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles.
- Strong background in Microsoft Azure, CI/CD tools, and automation frameworks.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, JavaScript, and PowerShell for automation and integration.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Bicep/Terraform) and container orchestration (AKS/Kubernetes).
- Experience with API development, JSON, and integration best practices.
- AI/ML integration experience using Model Context Protocol (MCP).
- Data lake architectures and analytics platforms such as Databricks, along with Power BI for reporting and visualization.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and Active Directory, preferably in a hybrid environment.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
Salary: $140,000 - $170,000
