We are seeking a motivated DevOps Engineer to join a Swiss Investment Bank within the global Center of Excellence Software Solutions team. Responsibilities
- Champion standardization and automation across applications and infrastructure.
- Drive onboarding of applications to the cloud-native stack and teams to common platforms (e.g. observability frameworks).
- Support and foster a strong engineering culture across global teams.
- Maintain and enhance shared platforms within GPS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape the future software solutions strategy.
- Operate and support critical business systems globally, ensuring performance, scalability, and security.
Your Profile
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps / Software Engineering roles.
- Strong CI/CD expertise (Jenkins, GitLab, Maven).
- Proficient in scripting (bash) and working on Linux infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes deployments and distributed architectures.
- Experience with Azure Application Platform (AKS).
- Development background (Java, .NET, Scala, Python, or JavaScript).
- Solid knowledge of communication stacks (RabbitMQ, Kafka, gRPC, WebSockets).
- Familiarity with observability tools (Grafana, ElasticSearch, Fluent-bit, OpenTelemetry).
- Strong understanding of security topics (OAuth 2.0, TLS, vulnerability scanning).
- Proficiency in designing architecture and writing code for microservices and distributed applications.
