🚀 Hiring: Cloud Engineer (Full-Time, W2 Only)

Location: Merrimack, NH (Need only Local candidates)

Employment Type: Full-Time, W2 only

We’re looking for a Cloud Engineer with deep expertise in Unix/Linux systems, cloud infrastructure, and automation. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in agile environments, embraces continuous learning, and brings strong technical ownership to backend and platform engineering challenges.

Experience in designing, creating and deploying automated processes to install, upgrade and rehydrate MQ platforms, such as Artemis MQ and IBM MQ, in public cloud environment.

Will help BU's onboard Artemis and IBM messaging systems.

Must have skills

Artemis MQ and IBM MQ

Azure and/or AWS public cloud

IAC using Terraform

Kubernetes - must be very strong

CICD Jenkins, Github, artifactory

🔧 What You’ll Bring

Strong Unix/Linux fundamentals and experience deploying applications in Azure or AWS
Hands-on expertise with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or ARM templates
Practical experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub, Artifactory, and Jenkins
Proven ability to build and manage Kubernetes-based cloud platforms
Full lifecycle experience: design, development, testing, deployment, and support
Experience automating installation, upgrade, and rehydration of MQ platforms (Artemis MQ, IBM MQ) in cloud environments
Strong analytical skills for triaging and resolving production issues and outages
Familiarity with on-call support, incident resolution, and release management
Excellent communication and influencing skills across distributed teams
Passion for learning new technologies and staying ahead of cloud trends
Comfortable working in globally distributed agile teams
