Azure Cloud Engineer
Exciting opportunity for an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to join a fast-growing industry leader on a 3-month contract. This role blends architecture (30%) and implementation (70%), offering the chance to design, build, and optimize cloud and on-premises networking solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and support Azure and on-prem networking.
- Configure/manage Azure Entra ID & B2C.
- Optimize network architecture and documentation.
- Manage routing, segmentation, VLANs, VPNs, DNS.
- Configure Azure Virtual Networking, Front Door, Defender for Cloud.
- Assist with WAF configuration/tuning.
- Implement FortiGate firewalls; support Cisco (9k switches, routing, Catalyst WiFi).
- Provide recommendations to improve security, scalability, and performance.
- Collaborate with IT ops and security teams on network strategy.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years Azure Cloud Engineering.
- Hands-on Azure networking (VNet, Front Door, Defender).
- Azure Entra ID/B2C expertise.
- Core networking (routing, VLANs, VPN, DNS).
- WAF configuration (Imperva a plus).
- Strong design, documentation, and communication skills.
