A leading enterprise organization operating across a multi-cloud environment is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support the growth and reliability of its SaaS platform infrastructure. This is a fully remote position ideal for experienced DevOps professionals who thrive in fast-paced cloud-native environments and are passionate about automation, scalability, and deployment pipelines.
You’ll play a critical hands-on role in building and maintaining modern infrastructure, CI/CD workflows, and Kubernetes-based deployment processes. While AWS is the primary cloud platform, experience with GCP is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure in AWS and GCP
- Support and improve CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or Jenkins
- Maintain and optimize Kubernetes (EKS) clusters and container orchestration strategies
- Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform
- Automate operational workflows and deployment processes using scripting languages (Shell, Python, Go)
- Collaborate with software engineers and architects to align infrastructure solutions with SaaS product goals
- Monitor performance, availability, and cost across cloud infrastructure using observability tools
- Enforce cloud security best practices, secrets management, and compliance standards
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering
- Strong hands-on expertise with AWS services (EKS, EC2, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation, etc.)
- Exposure to or experience with GCP services (Cloud Run, GKE, IAM, etc.)
- Proven experience managing EKS-based Kubernetes environments in production
- Strong experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices
- Solid scripting skills (e.g., Python, Shell, or Go) for automation and tooling
- Experience building and managing CI/CD workflows for SaaS or microservices applications
- Familiarity with cloud security, IAM policies, secrets management, and monitoring
Nice to Have
- Experience deploying and operating SaaS applications at scale
- Familiarity with ArgoCD, Helm, or Flux
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, or ELK
- Exposure to DevSecOps practices or working within regulated environments (SOC2, HIPAA, etc.)
- Background in GCP-native services and architecture patterns
