The Role
- As the DevOps - Platform and Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for the stability, performance, and scalability of the entire cloud infrastructure.
- Manage and administer a multi-account AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
- Oversee and maintain multiple EKS clusters, handling deployments with ArgoCD and Helm.
- Lead the efforts in logging, monitoring, and alerting to ensure system reliability.
- Own and optimize GitLab CI/CD pipelines in close collaboration with developers.
- Support the development team with their infrastructure needs, acting as a true platform enabler.
- Occasionally, you will assist in building and delivering on-premises versions of the product for specific government clients.
The Essential Requirements
- US Citizenship or Permanent Resident (Green Card) status (for ITAR controlled projects)
- 2-4 years of professional experience in a Platform, SRE, or Cloud Engineering role.
- Deep, hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Strong knowledge of managing infrastructure as code with Terraform.
- Familiarity with GitOps workflows and packaging applications using Helm charts or ArgoCD.
- Proficiency with CI/CD, preferably GitLab.
- Scripting and automation skills using Python or Bash.
- Experience working with a major cloud provider (AWS preferred).
- Experience working within spacetech, or highly regulated industries such as government, finance, or healthcare.
What Will Make You Stand Out
- Experience with observability tools like Grafana and Prometheus.
- Previous work in the space industry.
