We are looking for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join a forward-thinking team—someone who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. In this role, you will play a key part in advancing a cloud-based SaaS platform that leverages state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms and models.
A successful candidate will be able to fulfill both the Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) requirements of a cloud-native SaaS organization and the Platform Engineering principles of developer enablement.
What You Will Be Doing
- Manage and administer AWS cloud infrastructure across multiple accounts using Terraform and AWS best practices
- Oversee and maintain multiple Amazon EKS clusters, utilizing ArgoCD and Helm for deployments
- Lead logging, monitoring, and alerting initiatives to ensure system reliability and performance
- Own and optimize GitLab CI/CD pipelines while collaborating closely with development teams
- Participate in greenfield initiatives and contribute to solution architecture decisions
- When required, build and deliver on-premises versions of products for government customers
What You Will Need
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident (Green Card) status
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Hands-on experience deploying and scaling applications using Kubernetes and Docker
- Strong knowledge of AWS (certification preferred)
- Experience managing infrastructure as code with Terraform
- Familiarity with GitOps workflows and packaging applications using Helm
- Experience with observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki
- Proficiency in Python and Bash for automation and scripting
- Experience working with PostgreSQL databases
- Familiarity with government security and compliance frameworks and applying DevSecOps best practices
