Job Overview
We are looking for a DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure Intern to support our engineering team in managing cloud environments, automation, and infrastructure. This role will provide hands-on exposure to cloud platforms, containerization, networking, and DevOps practices. The intern will work closely with developers, QA, and operations teams to learn how modern infrastructure is provisioned, secured, and optimized for scalability and reliability.
Qualifications And Requirements
- Pursuing/Graduated with B.S/B.E /B.Tech/BCA /M.Tech/MCA degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and IaC tools (Terraform/Ansible/CloudFormation) is a plus.
- Knowledge of scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Fundamental networking knowledge (IP, routing, subnetting).
- Basic understanding of DevOps, DevSecOps, and CI/CD practices.
- Good problem-solving and collaboration skills.
- Ability to document work clearly and accurately.
Role and Responsibility
- Assist in provisioning and managing infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation.
- Support deployment and management of applications on AWS, Azure, GCP with Docker & Kubernetes.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and integrate basic DevSecOps practices.
- Write automation scripts in Python, Bash, PowerShell to optimize workflows.
- Learn and support network design (LAN/WAN/WLAN, IP addressing, routing).
- Help monitor performance and troubleshoot issues using tools like Wireshark, ping, traceroute, SNMP.
- Maintain and update documentation (diagrams, configs, topology).
