We are hiring a DevOps Engineer to help us build, secure, and scale our fintech infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in secure CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, load balancing, system scalability, and payment gateway integrations, who wants to work in a high-impact fintech environment.
You will work closely with backend engineers and product teams to ensure our systems are secure, reliable, compliant, and production-ready, especially for high-volume, transaction-heavy payment systems.
Responsibilities:
- Build, manage, and optimize secure CI/CD pipelines
- Automate deployment workflows across staging and production environments
- Manage and scale cloud infrastructure (AWS / GCP / Azure)
- Implement and maintain load balancing, auto-scaling, and high availability setups
- Monitor system performance, logs, and alerts; handle incidents and root-cause analysis
- Enforce security best practices across infrastructure and pipelines
- Manage secrets, certificates, IAM roles, and network security
- Support production deployments, rollbacks, and release cycles
- Maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Ensure systems meet fintech-grade security, compliance, and reliability standards
- Support and optimize infrastructure for payment gateway systems handling real-time transactions
Required Skills:
- 1–2 years of Strong experience in DevOps / Cloud / Infrastructure Engineering
- Strong knowledge of Linux systems and networking
- Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized deployments
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
- Understanding of load balancers and reverse proxies (Nginx, ALB, etc.)
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools
- Strong understanding of security fundamentals (TLS, IAM, secrets management)
- Hands-on experience supporting or operating payment gateway systems
- Understanding of transaction flows, webhooks, callbacks, and high-availability payment systems
- Ability to troubleshoot production issues under pressure, especially during live transactions
Good To Have:
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Prior exposure to fintech, payments, or regulated environments
- Knowledge of WAFs, rate limiting, DDoS protection, and security scanning
- Database operations knowledge (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis)
- Experience handling high-throughput, low-latency systems
