Job Description
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain reliable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. This role focuses on automation, scalability, security, and operational excellence across development and production environments.
This is a remote role suited for engineers who can take ownership of infrastructure and delivery workflows.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable and fast deployments.
- Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) using Infrastructure as Code.
- Containerize applications using Docker and manage deployments with Kubernetes.
- Monitor system performance, uptime, and reliability using logging and monitoring tools.
- Implement security best practices for cloud resources, secrets, and access control.
- Automate operational tasks and improve deployment reliability.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to support development and release processes.
- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure system stability.
Requirements
- Strong experience in DevOps or SRE roles in production environments.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.).
- Solid experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proficiency in Linux, scripting, and automation.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, freelance setup.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools.
- Experience with security, compliance, and cost optimization.
- Exposure to high-availability and distributed systems.
- Experience supporting startup or fast-paced environments.
